Well, with a new year comes new and fabulous ideas! I'm kicking off a new program for my dedicated clientele, to say THANK YOU for your business!!
Starting this year, you can start earning Photo Rewards. Photo Rewards can be used as cash for photo session fees or even prints and photo gifts. In order to start collecting your Photo Rewards, please let your friends know to mention your name. I will send you a gift certificate by email once your friends session is completed.
More information will follow. Just wanted to let everyone know that great things are coming!
Happy New Year!

Wow....I have NOT been a very good blogger. However, this is New Years Day, 2011, and my resolution is to get it together!
So many fun things are planned for this new year, I can't wait! New website, new backdrops, new equipment, new energy; it's going to be an exciting year.
I will be posting some of my recent sessions for all to see. I hope this new year brings great things for all! I have learned this past year that attitude is everything; and being present and IN the moment. Too many of us fall prey to distractions and diversions and forget to just BE in the moment. Do your best to enjoy each and every moment while it's happening. If you do, you will find greater joys!
Happy New Year to all!

BOOK YOUR HOLIDAY SESSION NOW!!!

CALLING ALL HOLIDAY SESSIONS.

I'M BOOKING UP FAST!

I know a lot of you wait until late November, or December, but my availability is limited this year and I want to get everyone in! My last session for holiday cards is November 25, and my last date for gift/print orders is November 30, so

DON'T WAIT!!! It's crazy how quickly this season creeps up on us!!!!

I have been so busy this summer, it's hard to believe we are almost to HALLOWEEN!!

ALSO...for the month of October, I'm offering complimentary sessions to all the little ones who come dressed in their halloween costumes.

Anyone with a costume is welcome. Again, there is limited availability, so please schedule your appointments quickly.

As far as holiday gifts/cards, etc....we have some exciting stuff! Anything from purses, to keychains and dogtags.
Also, puzzles, books, stand outs, statuettes (a stand up picture that's cut around the subject...too cute!) If you have thoughts or ideas, let me know; I'm sure we can get whatever you are looking for. (Besides...who needs another set of bath soaps???) LOL

As for my recent sessions...I have had a great summer. Below are some of my favorites!

Well, I'm short on time, so I must now close. But please remember if you want to book your sessions, do it now, before I'm completely booked. Last year I had to turn people away, and I don't like doing that!
I'm looking forward to seeing you all this holiday season!!!

Summer Lovin'

Happy Summer!
I hope everyone's summer is going well. We've been blessed with some pretty nice weather (heatwaves aside...).

I'm very excited to share some recent sessions.
Christopher, my new buddy, was such a ball of energy. It was so fun to follow him around and "play" while we got some fun shots.

Next was Breanna. She was a reluctant teen who let me have my way with her hair and makeup. She's part of my new session called "Tweens and Teens". What a great age to showcase. It's such an awkard time for kids this age, and I have found, both personally and professionally, that a successful session with girls (and boys) of this age group REALLY help build self esteem. I have had so many Thank You notes from Moms from these sessions. I really encourage you to consider the possibilities with your child!
Last, and certainly not least, is Nicole. She's such a great girl. We had such a great time walking our location and shooting.
I know how lucky I am to be doing what I do. It's a true gift.
Thanks for letting me share and as always, please don't hesitate to call if you have any questions.
Stay cool this summer. I'll look forward to you next time around on my blog!

I am a lucky girl! I got to share in the life of my friend and her family at Caspers Wilderness Park. This is about the happiest you will ever see me. It doesn't get better than this! The handsome fella I'm riding is Rothenburg. As the girls played in the campground, I got a moment to revel in the glory of horseback riding.

While visiting Theresa and her family, I took some pictures of her beautiful daughter, Lauren.
Lauren is a teenager who's full of spunk and laughter. I just love hanging out with her; she reminds me what it was like to be younger.
During our week on spring break, I really look forward to visiting Theresa with the girls down at the stables (aside from the other fun stuff we have planned for the week!)
Happy Spring Break Week!

Happy Spring

Happy Spring to everyone!
Well, no news is good news, but good news is even better. Last week I went to Vegas for the annual WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) convention, and I'm excited as usual, because I always come away with tons of great information, and renewed inspiration!!

I am signing with a new lab that will include custom cards, press printed books, bookmarks, albums and anything you can imagine!

Also, over the next few months, I'll be updating my website. I'll be updating new images and including my blog so you can check in with me whenever you want.

There are still a few days left to book your sessions for the Mothers Day Special, which include custom photobags. If you already had your session, you have until April 5th to order any photobags in time for Mothers Day.

That's all I have for now, but please feel free to email me with any questions or just say hi!
Have a great week, and enjoy this amazing weather we're having!

Welcome!

Welcome to my new Blog! What a joy to be able to share with you all the trials and tribulations of photography and the like!

The holidays are once again upon us. And along with millions of other parents, I ask..."Where did the year go?"

I hope your summer was as relaxing as it was quick! As my kids get older, the summer vacations seem to get shorter. I had a visit from my sister's family from Norway, and it was a total delight. She, her husband and their FIVE beautiful children kept us busy. It was sad to let them go; but we'll be reunited when my family travels to Norway for the Holidays. Let the coundown begin!!!

As for the holiday season, it's time to gear up for the annual family portrait. I'm looking forward to new and innovative holiday cards. I have a few ideas brewing. I can't wait to share!
